Low-level Radio Frequency (LLRF) Control System

This low-level radio frequency control system enables stable and secure operation of RF accelerators.

This device monitors RF signals ? such as the cavity field of an RF accelerator or an amplifier (klystron, etc.) ? and performs RF signal control to ensure stable operation. In addition to RF, it can also monitor various other signals (beam, light, temperature, vacuum, equipment information) for the control of cavity tuners and other devices, and interlock control to ensure personnel/equipment safety. Digital (MTCA) platform and control software are important for converting signals from analog to digital and providing high-speed, flexible digital control using FPGAs.

Digital platform MTCA.4, MTCA.0, ME
Control software EPICS, MADOCA
LLRF control RF signal control (feedback, feedforward), cavity tuner control, interlock control, and numerous other functions
RF accelerators Linear/circular, fixed/variable frequency, electronic/hadron, pulse/CW, normal/superconducting, etc.
