This 9GHz-band transceiver is triggered by the radar waves emitted by ships and aircraft involved in a search & rescue mission. Emergency responders will thus know the direction and distance to the person(s) in distress.

• Frequency range: 9200MHz to 9500MHz
• On receipt of the pulse from an approaching radar, the transceiver automatically transmits a response signal.
• The response signal is displayed as a series of points (sort code) on the radar operator’s scope.
